SITUATION

ENEMY
Local enemy fighters appear to have taken a defensive posture following last week's raid.
Large force of enemy infantry has been sighted travelling South from Kunduz along the river basin, we expect these are militia being marshalled for a larger attack. The lead elements have already passed through our AO and are continuing further south. Limited vehicle presence appears to be supporting 107mm rocket launch sites, and providing other logistical support to the company sized element of infantry.
We expect the enemy's main effort will be focused south of our AO.

FRIENDLY
1 Section have successfully disrupted the enemy's supply activities in our area, taking only a single casualty.
2 Section remain in Force Protection role at PB Invicta.

3 Section are conducting routine patrols east around FOB Faraz Abad.
AUP have begun reinforcing their patrol base to the south, and have spent the last week regularly patrolling the near side of the Kunduz River.

A Section strength element of the ANA are stationed at PB Benson with their OMLT Mentor (Cpl Eckhart of the USMC).
